The Micro X’s sound generator is the same Hi Synthesis system used by the TRITON series and is packed with hundreds of great sounds. It's compact and very easy to use.
I think that the Magic Flute in combination with the Korg Micro X is really something special.
The Combination mode allows up to eight programs to be freely combined to create complex sounds. 384 preloaded combinations are provided. This way you can trigger different loops and play, on top, nice solos with the Magic Flute.
It has an assignable input for a switch. You could use this switch for scrolling to the sound banks or to trigger an LFO etc.
And there is more. There is a USB connector which allows direct MIDI connection to your computer. There is also Editor Software included for seamless editing of Micro X sounds, and... a lot that can be programmed to breath control.
There is one thing I have to mention. I was not successful to program breath control to volume. Of course this aspect is most important for a good brass sound. Maybe it was my own lack of knowledge.
