There is a software  solution for  playing the Magic Flute  without head movement!  The program that you need is called E-Scape.

E-Scape is a MIDI sequencer special designed  for  disabled people. It is a bit complex as all MIDI sequencer are
(Logic, Cubase etc) It has many very intresting  functions but I'm going to concentrate on one. It is called

This is E-Scape. In this example song you see 4 tracks.
The first track is a melody. The other tracks are for accompaniment. Every brick is a different note.
You trigger these notes by blowing the Magic Flute!
You can trigger note for note or trigger longer sections (phrases). Every track has a different sound, you can change from track to track very easy.



Here is a step to step guide.

First we have to program the Magic Flute. A single note only is needed. Program  C4  into one of the 4 memorys.. (read adding scales section)
